David Dionne is the President of Integrated Park Management, a company dedicated to building and improving parks and communities across America. His work has been consistently recognized as both visionary and innovative by both park professionals and government leaders at every level across the country. David has been a featured or keynote speaker at park and trail conferences more than 50 times and served for many years as a consultant to design firms, government agencies, and nonprofit corporations. His ideas and practices are frequently copied and consistently praised for their simplicity, function and cost efficiency.
East Coast Greenway Alliance Chairman, National Board of Trustees 1994 to 2010
Served the East Coast Greenway Alliance in several capacities as we advanced the vision of a multi-modal public path that passes through the urban centers of the East Coast from Maine to Florida. My duties include leadership, policy development and advocacy for this multi state effort while simultaneously building strong alliances for the ECGA.
The Maryland Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee 2003 to 2007
Governor Robert Ehrlich, Jr. appointed me to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee in 2003 and to a two-year term as Chairman in 2005. The Committee was created to advise the Governor and his administration on issues that promote safety, trail construction, legislation and community design as they impact the walking, cycling and mobility impaired communities.
White House Millennium Trails Program Green Ribbon Panel 1998 to 2001
Member - Contributed to the development of program policy, hosted several special events and programs and advised the panel. I also managed several special assignments; I hosted First Lady Hillary Rodham-Clinton’s public announcement of the program at the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail Park in 1998.
